INTRODUCTION:

My name is Hans Stephen H. Corpuz and welcome to my online portfolio. I am a graduate of Massey University with a degree on Creative Media Production and am currently looking for an entry-level career related to 3D modelling, more specifically, in a game development environment, as it is something that I have always had a passion for.

When it comes to creating models, I would describe myself as a detail-sensitive individual. The worlds and stories that other people have created has always been an inspiration to me. Whenever I set out to put ideas into paper, or concepts into models, believability and functionality to the world that inspired it are key factors in my work. As you go through my portfolio, it's formatted so that it would describe the object according to the world its set in and below it, a small documentation on how I went about doing the aforementioned asset.

Research is a must and I dedicate time in both working and learning as I go in order to create an asset as believable and authentic as possible, with the goal of making it fit nicely into the world that inspired it. Putting effort specifically into making it feel and look like it would work from a technical point-of-view.

After graduation, I've started self-teaching myself industry techniques and skills to better prepare myself what I apply to a job related to my course. I still consider my work novice, though I am more than willing to improve and learn, and I have dedicated my time and effort to an industry that I hope I can contribute in.

Currently, I'm self-teaching Blender, working on my own personal projects to put into this portfolio.

ABOUT ME:

Detail-driven, hard-working and willing to learn with Level 3 Excellence Endorsement in Literary English and Media Studies, as well as a Graduate of Massey University with a Bachelor's Degree in CMP (Creative Media Production). Has passion for Fiction Writing, Gaming, Research, World-Building and 3D Modelling.

Some experience in a game development from University, in which I created assets, props and environmental models for projects I was assigned to. Other means of gaining experience is in self-teaching and practice in my freetime.

Has experience in Sketchup, AutoCad Maya and Adobe Substance Painter. Currently self-teaching Blender.
